Sharing your story of Greatness is important because it builds human connection, fosters empathy, and creates a sense of community by showing others they are not alone. It facilitates personal healing, strengthens resilience, and turns personal experiences into valuable wisdom that can inspire or help others navigate similar challenges.

About this special "collaborative" Publishing Project

About The BOOK

In their forth coming new book, “GreatNests: True Stories of How Family, Faith, and Fortitude Generated Greatness,” the Cobb’s goal is to affirm a lifelong belief:  “You don’t have to be famous to be great.”

The excerpt above, titled, “Greatness,” is from Earl’s 48th High School Reunion keynote address and captures the foundation for their belief.

In reenforcing this belief, the Cobbs share, “Our life experiences have proven that even though none of us choose our birth family, it is the Family that raises us, the Faith we develop along the way, and the personal Fortitude we all maintain throughout our lives that becomes the primary source of our Greatness.”

As Charlotte puts it, “True greatness is generated within the Homes or Nests that build the critical foundations for all  great lives; and each 'great nest' is  unique. Our literary goal in GreatNests, is to showcase as many of these lives and  'nests', as possible.”

"Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them."

--William Shakespeare

"Human greatness does not lie in wealth or power, but in character and goodness. People are just people, and all people have faults and shortcomings, but all of us are born with a basic goodness." --Anne Frank

What do you think of when you hear the worD GREATNESS?

We Think and Believe that You Don't Have To Be Famous To Be Great

We believe that  regardless of your birthplace and occupation, you will be remembered as being great.

While society frequently measures greatness through visible achievements like fame or material success, many philosophical and spiritual perspectives suggest that “true” or “objective” greatness is found in the quiet, consistent, and often unseen acts of a well-lived life.

This is how we characterize your "Greatness" and "Why"...

  •  If you can recall all of the major circumstances in your life when someone reached out to you, and said I need you, and without hesitation---you showed up!

  • If your church or your community ask for your help, and even though, at the time, you may have had so many others tugging at your time and your energy--- but you still gave all that you could give.

  • If regardless of the differences and conflict with certain people in your life ( including some family members) who may have deserved to hear every bad word that could come out of your mouth, instead, you found a way --- to publicly have nothing but kind words for everyone.

  • And, If you made it a habit to under promise and over deliver.

  • And, if you have always felt comfortable in your skin.

  • And, if you have consistently found a way to include others in your victories.

  • And, if you have focused on solutions and not blame, if you seek, as well as, share knowledge.

  • And, if you have warmly and deeply been appreciative of the kindness and the benefits received from others.

  • Then, we believe that you will be remembered as being great.
